1. Data Collection

WringCloud is a large-file delivery platform built for businesses and teams, and we take user privacy seriously. Below are the types of user data WringCloud collects and processes:

• User identity information: basic profile such as your nickname and avatar obtained through WeChat/Alipay authorized login or phone number login
• Transfer records: the file transfer history of logged-in users, including file name, file size, transfer time and transfer status
• Payment information: order records for plan subscriptions and one-time payments
• Benefit usage: usage records such as download credits consumed for cross-network secure relay, plan credit pool consumption and permanent credit pack balances
• Device information: browser type, operating system and other information used to optimize the transfer experience

2. Data Storage

WringCloud adopts a tiered storage strategy:

• Guest users (not logged in): transfer records are stored only in your local browser (localStorage) and are never uploaded to the server
• Logged-in users: transfer records and user information are stored on the server side so you can view your history across devices
• File content: file content is transferred directly between the sender and the receiver without passing through a server relay (except for cross-network secure relay)

About local storage: Local storage (localStorage) is a browser-provided data storage mechanism that WringCloud cannot read or access remotely. Clearing your browser cache deletes this data.

3. Data Encryption

WringCloud protects user data with multi-layer encryption and verification mechanisms:

• Transfer encryption: all transfers run over encrypted channels. P2P direct transfer uses WebRTC DTLS end-to-end encryption, so data travels only between the sender and the receiver; cross-network secure relay uses full-link HTTPS encrypted transfer to ensure data cannot be eavesdropped on in transit
• Integrity verification: file integrity is verified with hash values (SM3 by default, falling back to SHA-256) to ensure files are not tampered with during transfer
• Authentication security: login state is verified with secure tokens, and connections must pass a secure handshake verification

4. Data Transfer

WringCloud's file transfer mechanism keeps your data secure:

• LAN direct transfer: data is transferred directly within a local area network and never touches the public internet
• Cross-network secure relay: full-link HTTPS encrypted transfer; file chunks are staged in cloud object storage, data does not pass through application servers, and receivers must pass credential verification before downloading
• Confirmed reception: files are saved only after the receiver actively clicks "Accept files"
• Chunked transfer: smart chunked transfer makes large-file transfer more stable

5. Data Sharing

WringCloud does not share user data with any third party:

• No selling data: we will never sell user data to any third party
• No behavior analytics: we do not collect user behavior data for analysis
• No advertising: we do not use user data for ad targeting
• Legal requirements: except where required by laws and regulations or in investigations lawfully conducted by judicial or administrative authorities, we will not provide your information to any third party; even when disclosure is required by law, it is strictly limited to the necessary minimum

6. Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

• Local data: clearing your browser cache deletes locally stored transfer records
• Server data: submit a deletion request via the online feedback page on our website (/feedback.html). After verification we will process the user data stored on the server side, completing verification and processing within 15 business days of receiving your request.
• Transferred files: once a transfer completes, the server keeps no copy of the files

7. User Rights

You have full control over your data:

• View data: view all transfer records after logging in
• Delete data: delete history records or request deletion of account data
• Export data: request an export of your personal data
• Revoke authorization: revoke WringCloud's authorization in WeChat/Alipay

8. Security Measures

WringCloud protects user data with multiple security measures:

• Transfer encryption: P2P direct transfer uses WebRTC DTLS end-to-end encryption; cross-network relay uses full-link HTTPS encrypted transfer
• Secure authentication: token authentication + secure cache verification
• Connection security: connection handshake verification ensures legitimacy
• Rate limiting: signaling message rate limits prevent abuse

9. Children's Privacy

WringCloud does not provide services to children under 13. If you find a child under 13 using WringCloud, please contact us immediately.

10. Privacy Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be published on our website, and you will be notified of major changes.

11. Account Cancellation

To cancel your account, submit a request via the online feedback page (/feedback.html). We will help you complete the cancellation and clear the related data, completing verification and processing within 15 business days of receiving your request.
